In April 2026, Pad The Pandemic Foundation returned to the community with an in-person pad drop-off at Benjamin Banneker High School, continuing its mission to expand access to essential menstrual hygiene products and education.
Pictured are LaToya Dwight, Founder and Executive Director, alongside Adrienne Thomas, Board Chair of Community Engagement & Strategic Partnerships, and Tiffanie Bishop, Administrative Assistant at Benjamin Banneker High School. What began as a routine delivery quickly evolved into a powerful, purpose-driven conversation centered on the needs of students, families, and the broader community.

As a direct result, Pad The Pandemic Foundation and Benjamin Banneker High School have entered into an official partnership. Through this collaboration, the foundation will provide ongoing donations of menstrual hygiene products throughout the year, ensuring consistent access for students. In addition, the partnership will introduce educational curriculum designed to inform students, parents, and the surrounding community about period poverty, uterine fibroids, and overall reproductive health.
This moment reflects more than a single drop-off. It marks the beginning of a sustained commitment to education, access, and equity—meeting communities where they are and building solutions that last.
